In this highly central location in Århus C between Thorvaldsensgade and Vestergade, the river winds its way between beautiful old buildings and a newer multi-story building built in contemporary architectural style. In collaboration with a landscape architect, an active urban space has been created here, offering room for exercise, play, and movement.
For this active meeting place, Norwell’s play and fitness equipment has been chosen. The combination of play and outdoor fitness naturally complements each other, even in this more confined city space. A fantastic urban oasis and a delightful meeting place have been established along the river at ARoS Åpark—a vibrant outdoor area where children, youth, and adults/seniors can gather, exercise, play, and enjoy themselves with sculptural equipment that seamlessly blends into the surrounding beautiful older properties.
A natural approach to exercise and movement is established early in life and helps develop good habits. From studies, we know that it enhances children’s motor skills and contributes to effective learning, as well as overall shaping a healthy lifestyle.
For this park, the chosen fitness equipment includes the Air Walker and Parkour, along with the Urban Tree 4 climbing structure.
